Letter from James Bostek
It is my thought that the first rule of any business is the ability to accept
monies and be receptive to new and innovative ways of growing financially. It
was very short sighted of the DSO management to close down it’s parking garages
for the musician’s concert. This event, regardless of who it is was an
opportunity for the management to make a considerable amount of cash money.
They, like children, instead chose to take their toys away and not allow others
to play in their sandbox. Anyone who has attended any event downtown knows that
the bigger the event the more the local parking garages battle for those
dollars. Instead of showing their business prowess, the administration chose to
show that they are not even capable of running a lemonade stand.
