Save Our Symphony is made up of Detroit Symphony Orchestra patrons, donors, subscribers, business owners and community members.  We are passionate about keeping this great orchestra a thriving and vital part of the fabric of our city.

We are people who love great music and also recognize the economic value that this powerful orchestra brings to Detroit and Michigan. We believe so strongly in preserving the essential character and tradition of this world-class orchestra that we formed this grass roots organization.

Currently, SOS is working with the MDSO and the DSO to produce AVANTI, a six-day intensive summer experience for young musicians which will culminate in a live student performance on the world-renowned stage at historic Orchestra Hall  If you are interested in helping to fund this worthwhile program please click HERE
